How can I make a donation to AAI?

Your donations have a direct impact on the work of AAI in supporting member scientists and the field of immunology. You can donate while renewing or by visiting the AAI Donation web page. To donate by check, please mail your donation to:

How can I receive an invoice or receipt?

Receipts for any donations or dues online are automatically sent to your email address at the time of payment. Receipts for payments made by check or wire transfer are sent to the member’s email address after payment has been received and processed. You can obtain receipts for payments anytime by visiting the AAI Membership Services Portal, go to Member Services, and select My AAI Receipts.

 

What journals are available to me through my AAI membership?

AAI members receive a subscription to The Journal of Immunology. AAI also enables members to purchase other immunological journals at a special discounted rate. A list of the journals is included on membership renewal invoices, and they may be ordered at any time during your membership. To order a journal, visit the AAI Membership Services Portal, go to Member Services, and select Optional Journal Order Form. Optional journals generally begin arriving eight weeks after payment is received

 

How do I log into the AAI website (AAI Membership Services Portal)?

All AAI members have access to the secure AAI Membership Services Portal. If you lose or forget your User ID or Password, you may request this information via the Login Assistance link provided under the log-in box on the log-in page. Your User ID is your eight-digit AAI Member Number. To avoid any problems, please follow these log-in tips:
  • When entering your User ID, please remember to include the zeros that appear at the beginning of your ID.
  • Your password is not case sensitive
  • If you copy and paste, please make sure to avoid any extra spaces before or after your User ID or Password

 

How can I gain online access to The Journal of Immunology (The JI)?

The JI is available about two weeks after payment has been received for membership of the current year. To activate your personal online subscription to The JI:

  1. visit The JI website
  2. click Activate Your Online Subscription
  3. read the online agreement, scroll to the bottom, then click Agree
  4. enter your eight-digit AAI User ID (Member Number) and continue through the activation process.

 

How can I gain online access or submit a manuscript to ImmunoHorizons (IH)?

ImmunoHorizons is an open-access journal. See more details below:

  1. visit The Immunohorizons to read available content.
  2. To submit your manuscript online, visit the ImmunoHorizons online manuscript submission and peer review site

 

Can I receive print copies of The JI as a member?

Print copies of The JI are available to paid Regular or Associate members only. For members residing outside of the U.S., an additional $130 is needed to cover the cost of international delivery. Regular or Associate members may choose to receive the print version of The JI by selecting Print and Online when you renew your membership or at any other time by emailing members@aai.org. Back copies are available for purchase if you join or renew your membership later in the membership year. To purchase back copies:
  1. visit The JI website
  2. click on Subscribe
  3. click on Member
  4. select Single Issue Order Form under Print Subscriptions
Once membership is paid for the current year, your first issue of The JI should arrive in about 4 to 6 weeks. To help ensure timely delivery, please confirm your delivery address by logging into the AAI Member Services website and then selecting Update My Information under Account Services.
