For over 100 years, The Journal of Immunology (The JI) has served immunologists and the research community by publishing novel, peer-reviewed findings in all areas of experimental immunology: innate and adaptive immunity, inflammation, host defense, clinical immunology, autoimmunity, and more. Special sections include “Brief Reviews,” “Pillars of Immunology,” “Cutting Edge,” and “Translating Immunology” articles. The JI is the most highly cited immunology journal worldwide.

ImmunoHorizons is an open-access, fully peer-reviewed journal committed to advancing the knowledge of immunology. Published articles will cover all areas of basic and clinical immunology. Work from across the full spectrum of the immunology landscape will be considered. Articles will be published in the following sections: Adaptive Immunity, Clinical and Translational Immunology, Infectious Disease, and Innate Immunity. All editorial decisions are made by practicing scientists.
