Emeritus Membership

QUALIFICATIONS

To become an Emeritus member, an applicant must meet the following requirements:

  1. Be fully retired from professional employment in the field of science,
  2. Have been a Regular Member of AAI for five prior years, and
  3. Be 62* years of age on the date of application for transfer to Emeritus.

* Applicants younger than 62 years of age will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

* An AAI Regular Member who becomes disabled and is fully retired may apply for Emeritus status regardless of age.

COST

While there is no cost to maintain an Emeritus Membership and voting privileges, AAI welcomes any donations to further its programs. If you wish to receive a subscription to The Journal of Immunology, the cost is $125 for an online subscription.
