JoAnne L. Flynn, Ph.D.
Brief Bio
JoAnne L. Flynn is a professor in both the Department of Microbiology and Molecular Genetics and Department of Immunology at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. She is also the assistant dean and co-director for the University of Pittsburgh/Carnegie Mellon Medical Scientist Training Program (MD-PhD). Dr. Flynn was president of the American Association of Immunologists from 2018 to 2019 and served as an AAI Council member from 2013 to 2020.
