AAI Educational Programs

GRADUATE/PROFESSIONAL EDUCATION

AAI provides numerous opportunities for professional education and development, including intensive Immunology Courses each summer and Education Committee Seminars at the AAI annual meeting. The Career Advisory Board (CAB) and Grant Review for Immunologists Program (GRIP) provide guidance to new investigators on specific career issues and grant writing, respectively.

K-12 EDUCATION

To cultivate the next generation of immunologists, AAI offers the High School Teachers Summer Research Program. The program provides opportunity for gifted high school teachers to attend the AAI Summer Immunology Course, followed by a hands-on research experience and curriculum development to bring the excitement of immunology research to their own classrooms. The curricula are available to other teachers through the archive maintained on the AAI website. Other K-12 educational resources can be found in Related Links.
