Message to AAI Members Regarding IMMUNOLOGY2021™

Dear AAI Members,

After much consideration regarding the many ongoing challenges presented by the global COVID-19 pandemic, the leadership of AAI has made the decision to move IMMUNOLOGY2021™ to a fully virtual experience. Travel restrictions, unique social circumstances involving the meeting venue and, most importantly, the health and safety of our members and attendees all played a part in choosing this safer approach.

While a virtual format will never fully replace the wonderful in-person interactions that we enjoy so much at the AAI annual meetings, we are confident that we can deliver a dynamic event that will feature leaders in the field from around the world, offer cutting-edge data in posters and block symposia, and provide many career opportunities.

There has never been a more important time for us to share the leading science for which our meetings and members are known. Virtual IMMUNOLOGY2021™ will allow everyone to attend from the safety and convenience of their home, office, or lab—including those who could not otherwise afford to do so because of time or financial constraints.

We look forward to the future when we will be able to gather in person once more. But, for now, we are very excited about planning the strongest virtual event possible where we can share our science and advance the field of immunology.

Details will be forthcoming about dates, registration, abstract submission, awards, and the scientific program. Look for information in your inbox, on, and in the AAI Newsletter.
