Sheldon Dray

 Brief Bio

Sheldon Dray (1920–2007) retired in 1991 after a nearly 30-year career as the head of the College of Medicine at the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC) department of microbiology and immunology. Dray joined the faculty at UIC in 1965 after 15 years of research at the National Institutes of Health. He was the fifth secretary-treasurer of AAI serving from 1964–1970.
