Katherine L. Knight, Ph.D.

Brief Bio

Katherine L. Knight is professor and chair of the Department of Microbiology and Immunology at the Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine. She is also co-founder and co-director of the Infectious Disease and Immunology Institute at Loyola University. Dr. Knight was president of The American Association of Immunologists from 1996 to 1997 and served on the AAI Council from 1991 to 1998. She was awarded the AAI Lifetime Achievement Award in 2013 and was elected a Distinguished Fellow of AAI in 2019.
