Akiko Iwasaki, Ph.D.
Brief Bio
Akiko Iwasaki, Ph.D., is a Sterling Professor of Immunobiology, Professor of Dermatology and of Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology and of Epidemiology (Microbial Diseases), and Director of Center for Infection and Immunity at the Yale School of Medicine. Dr. Iwasaki is an Investigator of the Howard Hughes Medical Institute. She was president of the American Association of Immunologists from 2023 to 2024 and served as an AAI Council member from 2018 to 2025.
