  AAI members who are under-represented minority scientists* are invited to join the Committee's voluntary List of Minority Members.  To be added, please download and submit the List of Minority Members Request Form or contact mwcuddy@aai.org.

* As defined by eligibility to participate in the Minority Access to Research Resources (MARC) Program of the National Institute of General Medical Sciences (NIGMS), NIH.  Eligible groups include: African Americans; Hispanic Americans; Native Americans (including Alaska Natives); and Natives of the U.S. Pacific Islands (Hawaii, Guam).
 


  Committee Role

 

 

 

The Minority Affairs Committee is a standing committee of the AAI. The nine members of this committee are appointed by the AAI Council for staggered three-year terms. The committee is responsible for generating and developing programs that assure equal treatment of all professional immunologists on the basis of merit.
