AAI supports a variety of educational activities:
K-12 Education
The AAI High School Teachers Summer Research Program provides support for a hands-on research experience followed by curriculum development. The curricula are available to other teachers through the archive maintained on the AAI website. Other K-12 educational resources can be found in Related Links.
Undergraduate Education
The AAI Undergraduate Science Faculty Program offers undergraduate faculty members at institutions which do not have an immunology curriculum the opportunity to attend the intensive AAI Introductory Course in Immunology and also take part in a hands-on laboratory experience.
Graduate/Professional Education
AAI provides numerous opportunities for professional education and development, including intensive Immunology Courses each summer and Education Committee Seminars at the AAI annual meeting. The Grant Review for Immunologists Program (GRIP) helps new investigators prepare their NIH grant proposals by matching them with established investigators who have significant, successful grant writing careers.
