Hugh O. McDevitt, M.D.

Brief Bio

Hugh O'Neill McDevitt (1930–2022) was emeritus professor of microbiology and immunology and of medicine at the Stanford University School of Medicine. Dr. McDevitt was sixty-fifth president of the American Association of Immunologists from 1981 to 1982 and served on the AAI Council from 1976 to 1981. He was awarded the AAI Behring-Heidelberger Award in 1992 and the AAI Lifetime Achievement Award in 2006.
